BREAST AUGMENTATION
Breast Augmentation is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient facility to improve the volume and projection of the breast. This involves placing an implant either below the muscle (SM, sub-muscular) or on top (SG, sub-glandular) to create volume. Candidates for a Breast Augmentation can present with little to no natural breast tissue or having lost breast tissue after pregnancy, weight loss, or with age.

IMPLANT REMOVAL
Implant Removal or Exchange augments breast volume by removing the implant and replacing it. Breasts change over time with age, weight gain, pregnancy and menopause – or sometimes it’s the trend that changes. Like fashion, plastic surgery trends come and go. Some who got larger breast implants at an earlier time in their life may decide they now want smaller breasts. Conversely, women with smaller implants and wish for larger breasts or need more volume to fill loose skin rather than opt for a lift will choose an exchange.

BREAST REDUCTION
A Breast Reduction reduces unwanted volume by cutting out excess tissue and/or with liposuction. GYNECOMASTIA
Gynecomastia reduces volume in a male chest. Men develop enlarged breast tissue due to age, weight gain, hormonal shifts or genetics. For many men having larger than desired breasts negatively impacts their self-confidence, how they dress, and their social or intimate interactions. Gynecomastia reshapes and reduces the size of a man’s breasts by removing excess tissue either by cutting it out or with liposuction. The areolar can also be reduced or excess skin is removed and lifted if necessary.
