BRACHIOPLASTY TECHNIQUE

During the surgery, an incision is made along the inner arm, often extending from the armpit to the elbow. The exact length and pattern of the incision will vary based on the extent of correction needed.

The Traditional Brachioplasty scar runs along the inside of the arm from the armpit to as far as the elbow. In general, you can estimate the length of scar as 3xs longer than every inch of skin removed. For patients needing or desiring less skin removed, the Modified Brachioplasty offers a smaller incision that runs laterally inside the armpit and extends minimally into the upper arm about an inch.

BRACHIOPLASTY RECOVERY
