The selection process begins with a survey of thousands of physicians and other healthcare professionals. hundreds of thousands of the nations leading medical specialists, department chairs, residency program directors, vice presidents of medical affairs and presidents of the nations leading medical centers were surveyed. The research team makes thousands of phone calls to leading specialists to identify top specialists.
