IMPLANT EXCHANGE
Implant Exchange revises the breast when a patient is unhappy with the look of her breasts, desires a change from saline to silicone or vice versa, or has developed a complication like capsular contracture. If the patient is happy with the current size of the implants and there is minimal sagging then the surgeon replaces the old implants with new ones and revises the pocket. If the current implant size is insufficient, and there is sagging, you may opt for a larger implant or a lift.

IMPLANT REMOVAL
Some women opt for removal due to various physical symptoms without a clear clinical diagnosis, a condition often referred to as Breast Implant Disease. Although there is no evidence that silicone implants cause harm, other women may simply decide they no longer want implants. Women with insufficient natural breast tissue are not ideal candidates for implant removal, as it can result in distorted or concave breasts. For those with sufficient natural breast tissue, a lift is often required for optimal results.

EXCHANGE & LIFT
Implant Exchange with Lift replaces current implants with new ones while addressing sagging (ptosis). Patients choose this procedure for several reasons: desiring smaller implants, liking the current size but having significant ptosis, experiencing complications, or being unhappy with the overall shape. The procedure involves removing old implants, revising the implant pocket, inserting new implants, and performing a Super Breast Lift to restore youthful breasts.

RECONSTRUCTION
Breast Reconstruction is for women who had all or part of their breasts removed due to breast cancer or treatment with radiation. Dr. Anton’s extensive work in breast reconstruction, as the co-creator of the Star Flap Nipple and a Breast Fellowship with Dr. Carl Hartrampf (considered the father of modern-day breast reconstruction) make him a leading expert in breast surgery. Breast reconstruction can involve harvesting tissue from a donor site and transplanting it to the breast, or the use of expanders or implants.
