ENHANCED DEEP PLANE FACELIFT
CASE OVERVIEW
This 63 year old patient from Laguna Beach, California had a previous breast and body surgery with Dr. Anton before consulting with him about her aging face. “I always thought when I reached a certain age, I’m going to have a blepharoplasty because I had those hanging eyes like my dad’s. It’s genetic.” After taking a harder look in the mirror, she realized she also did not like her turkey neck or the heaviness in her mid-face, which is addressed with an Enhanced Deep Plane Facelift. “I realized that no amount of filler was going to fix all the signs of aging that were bothering me, so I decided to go for it and do my entire face.” She had an Enhanced Deep Plane Facelift with Gliding Browlift, Quad Blepharoplasty, Fat transfer to lips and lateral chin plus Fountain of Youth Hycoox.

PRIMARY CONCERNS
This patient was most concerned with signs of aging in her face including sagging skin in the face and neck, hooded upper eyes, low brow placement and volume loss in her lips and chin.
CONSULTATION & ASSESSMENT
When it came to consulting with a surgeon about a facelift, she knew she needed one she could trust and who would deliver natural results. The Enhanced Deep Plane approach releases and lifts the SMAS from the neck, jawline and cheek and secures it behind and in front of the ear. This creates a more defined neck and eliminates the need for midline neck suturing. Liposculpsure was performed in the neck and jowls through a submental incision to remove excess fat. The Gliding Browlift undermines the skin and releases it from the muscle to reposition the eyebrows. Temporary sutures hold the skin in place and are removed two to three days after surgery. A Quad Bleph was performed by removing excess skin from the upper and lower eyes. Lastly, the Fountain of Youth Hycoox combination of PRF, Botox, and Biologics was applied for total skin rejuvenation.
To maintain the results of her facelift surgery, she continues with the monthly collagen building treatments like IPL and microneedling included in the Beauty Bank. She also has regular Botox treatments and occasional filler.

HOW DO YOU FEEL AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE?
After surgery the patient reports having very little post operative pain, relying on only Tylenol for pain relief. She took off two works from work and by the time she was cleared for exercise, around four weeks, she was already comfortable pulling her hair into a ponytail because her scars were barely visible. “My two favorite things are my neck and my cheeks. But then I look at my eyes and my forehead and they are wonderful. I’m just so happy with everything.”
