Fractora’s resurfacing power is driven by micro-needles that penetrate the skin and deliver waves of radiofrequency that ablate the skin’s dermis (inner layer) causing minimal damage to the epidermis (outer layer).

CONSULTATION, PREPARATION & PROCEDURE

The treatment area is numbed with a topical numbing cream for 30 minutes before the fractional skin treatment begins. Nitrous Gas is recommended for comfort during treatment. Your treatment begins with Lumecca to treat pigment irregularities.
Next, Fractora, with its powerful radiofrequency (RF) micro-needles works to resurface the skin and stimulate collagen remodeling. A light dusting of the Brilliance CO2 Laser Peel enhances the resurfacing and rejuvenation effects. The treatment ends Forma. Most patients report no pain during or after treatment. A Zimmer cooler is on hand if needed for additional comfort. Our Newport Beach FracTotal Facelift patients will require a driver to safely get them home. Note: Patients with a history of cold sores will be proactively treated pre- and postoperatively with prescription medication.

FRACTORA RECOVERY
The treated area is significantly red immediately following treatment and can remain so for up to 14 days post-treatment.
Swelling is typical and usually subsides within 3-10 days. Skin can be dry, and slight scabs will form where the Fractora micro-needles made contact with the skin.
It is important to hydrate the skin sufficiently, and not pick at or rub the face. Sunscreen must be worn during and after recovery when the skin is exposed to sunlight, including indirect sunlight like driving.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
The skin’s appearance improves significantly after a 7-14 day healing period. Improvements continue with optimal results seen at three months as new collagen growth is stimulated.
Lumecca and Forma follow-up treatments are done two to three weeks apart after the initial healing period. Following the completion of all therapies, the skin will be noticeably tighter, brighter, softer, tauter, with fewer pronounced wrinkles and acne scars, and the overall complexion more luminescent.
After three months, when optimal results are achieved, your new younger-looking skin can stay looking that way for years to come.
