47 YEAR OLD WOMAN, 125 LBS, 5’3”, LOST SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF WEIGHT, ORANGE COUNTY, CA, HAS CHILDREN, TUMMY TUCK

This patient underwent a tummy tuck after giving birth to her child and losing 12O pounds. She was frustrated that although she had lost a lot of weight she still had a lot of excess skin. She had a full abdominoplasty with single musculofascial plication, because her muscle wall was fairly tight she only needed one muscle plication down the midline. When her abdominal skin was pulled down her old belly button hole still remained, leaving a small vertical scar. These photos were taken 2 months after her procedure; her scars should continue to fade with time.
