41 year old woman, 5’4″, 110 lbs., umbilical hernia, modified tummy tuck, Newport Beach, CA

This patient came to see Dr. Mark Anton in Newport Beach because she had an umbilical hernia and excess skin after having kids. Although her stomach looked pretty flat in the standing position she did not like the look of loose skin when she bent over. She did not have enough excess skin for a classic tummy tuck so Dr. Anton came up with a modified plan of using a lower and shorter incision and moving her her belly button down to tighten her upper abdomen. Dr. Anton also repaired her umbilical hernia. These photos were taken 4 months after her surgery.
