68 year old woman, 5’1”, 100 lbs, Baker Grade III capsular contracture, breast implant revision, breast lift, Riverside County, Ca

This patient wanted a breast implant revision because she felt that her breast implant were too low and hard. She had four previous breast surgeries with a history of capsular contracture and an implant rupture. Before this surgery she had Mentor high profile smooth gel implants 325 cc placed on top of the muscle. She wanted her breasts to be perkier and softer, to have volume on top of the breast without seeing the implant, and better cleavage. For this procedure she had a bilateral multisubglandular capsulectomies, implant exchange with removal of intact implants and placement of Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Round Moderate Plus Profile silicone gel 400 cc implants placed under the muscle with superomesial capsulotomies of remaining submuscular scar capsule. She also had suture cautery fixation of left inferior and lateral breast folds, suture of inferior pectoralis major muscle edge to the subglandular tissue and right crescent mastopexy breast lift. These photos were taken 1 month after her surgery.
