42 year old woman, 5’6”, 128 lbs, breast implant revision, Orange County, Ca, deflated implant, capsular contracture

This patient wanted a breast implant revision after her left implant had deflated and her right implant had gotten hard. Her original breast augmentation was 8 years prior, she had Mentor textured saline implants 375 cc filled to 420 cc (left implant ruptured) placed under the muscle. She wanted to have softer breasts and to be smaller in volume; she started as a 34 D cup and preferred to be a 34 C cup. For this procedure she had a bilateral inferior capsulectomies with superomedial capsulotomies, removal of her original implants, and placement of Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Round Moderate Plus Profile  silicone gel 300 cc implants.
