THE PATIENT

62 year old woman, 5’0”, 100 lbs., breast cancer survivor, breast implant revision, Orange County, CA

This patient had her original breast augmentation 23 years ago and was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago. After chemotherapy and radiation she was unhappy with how her breasts looked and felt. For this procedure her original smooth saline 225 cc implants (filled with 250 cc of saline) were removed and replaced with Mentor moderate profile plus smooth round silicone gel 250 cc implants under the muscle. She also had an extensive inferior lateral suture fixation, capsule revision, and a full mastopexy breast lift. These photos were taken a year after her surgery.
