55 year old man, 6’0”, 225 lbs, upper and lower eyelid surgery, Orange County, Ca

This patient came to see Dr. Mark Anton in Newport Beach because his ophthalmologist suggested he was having trouble seeing because his heavy upper eyelids were interfering with his vision. Dr. Anton determined that this patient had eyelid ptosis; his eyelids had dropped enough to the point where they were blocking too much of his eyes. Dr. Anton performed a quad blepharoplasty or upper and lower eyelid surgery to remove the excess skin and fat. Dr. Anton could have removed more skin but did not want the patient to look too feminine. These photos were taken 2 months after his surgery.
