Neck Liposuction - Case 1

44 year old female. FaceTite plus Liposuction, Fractora and CO2 Laser resurfacing

This patient came to see Dr. Anton to talk about the sagging skin in her face she noticed after having lost weight. After an examination Dr. Anton determined that she is a candidate for a facelift. The patient, however, was not quite ready for a facelift and wanted to hear about the newest procedure, FaceTite, a non-incisional radio frequency (RF) technique that “shrink wraps” the tissues. Dr. Anton explained that FaceTite combined with neck liposuction to help contour the neck and jawline would improve the signs of her facial aging. She also wanted to address the fine lines and wrinkles on her face with some resurfacing.

Surgery – On the day of surgery, the patient met Dr. Anton in the pre-op room at Starpoint Health surgery center where he marked her skin for the procedures. She was then placed under general anesthesia for her procedures. Dr. Anton began with FaceTite to her mid-face, jowls and neck. There is an immediate and noticeable tightening that occurs with FaceTite as well as a prolonged effect. Optimal results occur 3 months post-operatively as the tissues continue to tighten with collagen being produced in the treated areas. FaceTite was followed by liposuction to these areas for contouring and sculpting, with the greatest emphasis being on the neck area. Lastly, to address skin tone and texture along with visible signs of facial aging including fine lines and wrinkles, a combination of Fractora (microneedling with radio frequency) and CO2 laser were employed for resurfacing the skin and remodeling tissues with collagen and elastin stimulation.

Post-Op – The patient went home after surgery to recover. She wore a neck wrap for the first seven days, 24 hours per day. Her face was swollen but not bruised and red from the Fractora and CO2 laser. At home she was instructed to use the CORE products raindrops for moisture and zen gel for anti-inflammatory. Her face sloughed from the laser peel leaving her skin smooth and glowing. The patient reports being extremely happy with her surgery results.
