This in office procedure requires no more than a topical numbing cream applied 30 minutes before and takes about one hour to perform. A minimum of three treatments is required for optimal results. Morpheus8 is a lunchtime treatment, which means there is little to no downtime or recovery required after the treatment. It is not uncommon for patients to experience some redness, inflammation, or soreness after their appointment, but this generally subsides within a few hours to a few days. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight after a micro-needling treatment and be sure to use SPF generously after your treatment, as the new skin will be more susceptible to sun damage. Patients should also wait to apply make-up for at least one to two days after the procedure.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Initial improvements in skin texture and tone can often be noticed within a week after the first treatment. These early results are due to the skin’s natural healing response to the micro-needling.
